Little 20cm Flame is the Feature Bear this week!
He came into being because I found a beautiful snippet of material at a show that just demanded to be made into a bear. His colours called out to me of sitting, relaxing around a fire on a warm summer's night. He was built over a period of two weeks as I worked on other bears - he should really have waited his turn but he wouldn't let go! His bits and pieces waited assembling -and I pulled together his head and started to sculpt his face -And as you can see, his lovely character popped into life!
