Hagan

I had great fun sewing this bear, who said his name was Hagan.  I loved the material he is made from.  It is a delicious soft distressed Old White Gold on a dark brown backing which means as I pulled the fur to make his nose, the deep brown came out and stood against the light gold colour giving great contrast and character to his little face.

He is a very traditional looking bear.  My design is traditional with the larger round bum and a little ‘hook’ on the back of his neck, but the mohair is a very teddy-bear colour.

I have added weights into his feet, about 50gms of tiny steel balls, which will help him stand very nicely.  He also looks great lazing on a cushion!

Actually, I really like him a lot! I hope you do too, have a look at all his photos on the website.  🙂
