Description
OOAK Ferdie the Fly Fisherman won a nomination award at the Golden George International Teddy Bear Competition held in Munster, Germany.
Ferdie is 43cm tall and is fully nut and bolt jointed and made from Schulte Sage on Brown Mohair. He has sage cashmere pads and paws and English Glass bright topaz eyes.
He is weighted with steel shot and has armature in arms and legs and is stuffed overall with heavy polyester filling.
He is sitting fishing, he wears a hand-knitted camouflage gilet and a hand sewn cloth cap. He stores his Flies for fishing caught into the cap and gilet and holds his fishing rod in his paws and has already caught another fish with a dangling fly.
He wears hand sewn faux leather zippered Wellington boots that reach up his thights so his feet do not get wet and sits on a little cushion for comfort.
He has a wooden bucket in front of him with the fish that he has already caught (3 fish can be seen held in clear resin)
