Description
This is a kit to make a gorgeous 18cm 7” Teddy Bear like Nessa Bears Lu-Yan and will come to you with the mohair material – pattern and colour as shown in the photos here as closely as possible.
Included are :- a full sized pattern of the bear and detailed instructions for its construction together with contrasting material for the pads and paws, English glass eyes and whipping twine to insert them and to pull up the neck joint of the bear; cotter pin joints, sewing thread and perle cotton for embroidering the nose and a long doll needle to use inserting the eyes and sewing the nose.
Each bear you create will develop its own little character as you sew and you will see this most clearly when you put the eyes in and sew its nose – the next one you do will probably look totally different, you can give them whatever expression you like. The power of creation of the little bears becomes quite addictive!

A Gold on Raspberry 10mm sparce mohair – gives a raspberry nose when you pluck or shave the nose!
B Daisy Yellow Whispy 10mm Hand Dyed Mohair – soft yellow and white and of course individual as hand dyed
C Teddy Yellow Dense 10mm Mohair – a very teddy colour, thick and soft
D Meadow 10mm Hand Dyed Mohair – several colours in this lovely mohair and again an individual piece of mohair
E Apricot and Grey 12mm Hand Dyed Mohair – beautiful soft colours and soft material to create a very individual bear
F Cream 3mm Short Mohair – an undyed piece of mohair to create a very traditional bear looking aged before its time!
G Sea Green 3mm Mohair/Viscose – very beautiful fabric with a sheen to create a traditionally short haired bear – this looks darker in the picture than it actually is, its actually quite a soft blue green
H Black 10mm Sparce Mohair – a lovely material that will give you a rare black bear with an immediate antique appearance
I Rose and Gold Whispy 12mm Hand Dyed Mohair – a soft material giving a very modern looking bear with beautiful colours
