Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2018 – its miserably wet outside but I’ve got the fire blazing away and that’s the best part of winter isn’t it?

This is going to be an exciting year for us at Nessa Bears – we have quite a lot already planned!   We start our year with a stand (no 26) at Hugglets Winter BearFest on Sunday 25th February at Kensington Town Hall in London, where we are joining approximately 170 exhibitors from all over the world at this fantastic event for teddy bear fanatics.  We would love to meet you there.  Do come and make yourself known at the stand in Hall 1 and we will be delighted to offer you 10% off any bear you may like to buy.   (for more details of the show see www.hugglets.co.uk).

In April we are off to Germany to the TeddyBar Total Show in Munster where we have a stand for the event which takes place on 28th and 29th.   This is a truly large show with 306 exhibitors from 27 different nations – Ukraine, Russia, USA, Netherlands to name but a few, plus a number of Teddy Bear Artists from the UK.  With such a broad exhibitor base the show organisers very sensibly have a large number of people who are there simply to interpret for you. I can assure you, it is an event worth going to.  It is also the home of the fantastic Golden George Teddy Bear Artist competition with some of the world’s most talented artists competing for the Golden George Awards.

June 18th we are at the Woburn Abbey Teddy Bear Festival in the magnificent Sculpture Gallery, even ignoring the large number of bears to gaze at (if you can) the estate is so beautiful to wander around too.  The British Teddy Bear Festival Awards are held at this event which means that there are some truly wonderful teddy bears, animals and characters to be seen at this event as they compete for the awards.

So as you can see, I am very busy developing and creating new teddy bears and also one or two little bunnies have hopped up into view over Christmas and will be making their debut at Hugglets!

Look forward to seeing you at an event soon
